Many men can improve their low sperm count through lifestyle modifications. This includes regular exercise and refraining from excess alcohol consumption and use of tobacco and illicit drugs.

Diets rich in antioxidants, Vitamin D and polyunsaturated fats have been shown to increase sperm count. Folic acid can also help improve both motility and count.

  1. Fenugreek:

Fenugreek has long been used as an herb to aid herbal medicine. Its most prominent use in fertility remedies and supplements has been increasing sperm count. Furthermore, this plant helps digestion and metabolism processes as well as boost libido. As such it’s commonly added as an ingredient in foods and supplements marketed as an aphrodisiac.

Studies have demonstrated that taking Furosap increases testosterone levels and sperm count while also improving motility, morphology and decreasing damaged sperm counts. A separate research paper determined that protodioscin, another compound found in fenugreek extract, improves motility as well as overall semen quality.

Folic acid is an essential nutrient for healthy sperm. Studies have linked low folic acid intake with lower sperm counts and motility; supplementing your diet with folate may increase sperm herbal products company. Folate is commonly found in leafy green vegetables or taken as dietary supplements.

Vitamin C is an antioxidant, protecting cells in your body from damage by free radicals known as oxidative stress. Oxidative stress has been linked with many health conditions including infertility. Vitamin C has been found to significantly increase motility while decreasing defective sperm counts; other research indicates that eating foods rich in polyunsaturates such as olive oil or avocados could also increase sperm count.

  1. Vitamin D:

Vitamin D is an essential nutrient to male fertility. A deficiency can reduce sperm count, motility and quality (Reference Uhland Kwiecinski DeLuca57). Vitamin D receptors present in testes epididymis and prostate can convert vitamin D to its active form of 1, 25(OH)2D3 (1,25(OH)2D3) that regulate genes involved with steroidogenesis, spermatogenesis, sperm maturation etc.

Studies demonstrate that men who suffer from vitamin D deficiency can experience increased sperm counts and motility after supplementing with it, and also prevent oxidative damage that leads to DNA fragmentation in sperm cells. This prevents fragmentation.

Folate is an essential nutrient in the production and maturation of sperm, so increasing consumption can help increase sperm count. There are various natural supplements and herbal remedies that can increase levels of this vital nutrient such as Ashwagandha or Tribulus terrestris; in addition, food rich in folate content such as cantaloupe melons may provide a source.

Vitamin E is another essential nutrient for sperm health, acting as an antioxidant to lower oxidative stress levels in the body. Studies have demonstrated that taking 400mg of vitamin E and 225ug of selenium supplements daily for three months significantly decreased malondialdehyde levels in seminal plasma; they also helped prevent DNA fragmentation of sperm.

  1. Coenzyme Q10:

Coenzyme Q10 is an antioxidant known to enhance several factors related to fertility. For instance, it can increase sperm count and motility while simultaneously improving quality. Furthermore, CoQ10 helps protect the reproductive tract against oxidative stress, often linked with low sperm counts.

Safarinejad recently conducted a study that demonstrated how oral CoQ10 supplementation significantly enhanced key semen parameters, such as concentration and motility of sperm. CoQ10 treatment groups also experienced reduced serum FSH and LH levels after 26-weeks treatment period and observed markedly improved sperm morphology as measured by Kruger online herbal products.

CoQ10 may help reduce oxidative stress. Oxidative stress occurs when too many free radicals are exposed to cells. Sperm and eggs require high amounts of energy during production and maturation processes, making them particularly susceptible to damage from free radicals. CoQ10 has been shown to improve egg quality as well as may increase sperm count by protecting mitochondria against oxidative damage; and increasing motility by decreasing non-motile sperm (in one study this number dropped 29%); by increasing motility this increases chances that sperm reach and fertilize an egg before moving off again!

  1. Sperm Count Selenium:

Selenium is an antioxidative trace mineral with many fertility-enhancing benefits. It increases sperm production and motility, helping prevent low sperm counts, fatigue after intercourse, weak or poor erections and selenoprotein synthesis for selenoprotein production as well as certain enzyme functions associated with maturation of sperm cells. Selenium can be found naturally in foods as well as supplements containing selenium such as selenomethionine, selenium yeast or sodium selenite; better absorption occurs when combined with vitamin C or E.

Study conducted over three months using 50mg of selenium daily as part of treatment for infertile men found that its supplementation increased sperm count, motility, viability, normal morphology and viability – with malondialdehyde levels (a marker for oxidative stress) decreasing significantly. Researchers concluded that using selenium together with zinc, omega-3 fatty acids CoQ10 carnitines or diet rich in these nutrients could enhance sperm quality.

Studies have also demonstrated that combining vitamins C, E and folate can greatly increase sperm concentration and motility. Folate is essential in the production of sperm cells; studies have also found it increases their concentration significantly. A separate research project demonstrated that vitamin E together with selenium and zinc proved more effective than taking just best herbal medicine for sex.
